After all the months of planning (work & finances) and waiting for school to start, SOT finally kicked start this week!

It was not how i had expected to start at all. In my mind, i picture lots of fun in getting to meet new people & my team mates, play games, and have a good shopping before the Youth Meeting in Expo with Pastor Kong.

But... Surprised! I fell sick. hahaha...

I was running serious fever (not sure how high as i never measure) on Monday morning around 4am+ (i was supposed to wake up at 5.30am for 1st day of school). Popped 2 panadol and ate some food. I really thank God the medicine worked super fast. Within 5mins, i was sweating profusely... even when i was on my way to school i kept sweating & sweating. This really bring the fever down. The fever came back after the orientation game (where we walked around Jurong West under the super hot sun)... but i really thank God for sustaining me throughout the long day... and i managed to go for the Youth Meeting.

Okay, i am just going to summarize the Orientation Day's events...

7am: Met Shengwei at CCK MRT Station.
7.50am: Reached Church. Registered. Take our name-tags & orientation booklet.
8.10am: Settled down in main sanctuary at basement 4.
8.45am: Orientation started.
11.30am: Team bonding game.
1pm: Back in Church to submit our photos & items (for the game).
1-2pm: Lunch at level 4.
2pm: Game's top 3 winning teams announced. (MY TEAM WON 3rd! $200 Attributes vouchers =D)

3-5pm: Came home, took panadol & food, napped for 2 hours.
5.30pm: Met Shengwei at Jurong East, together with my sister - headed for Expo.
7.30-10.30pm: Youth Meeting with Pastor Kong.
11pm: Cabbed back. (thanks to my sis & shengwei for being willing to take cab with me as i was really sick & feverish... very ka-ching$!)
11.30pm: Home sweet home!

I was on MC the next day (1st official school day!). hahaha. Actually i was quite dishearten on Monday morning. I was like "why like that?" But something came into my heart and gave me a lot of strength: satan is striking right on the very 1st day... there must be something threatening to him about me going to school huh!!!

I really thank God for this! He gave me all the strength i need to keep pressing forward this very long day while i was very sick. GOD is good! His grace is sufficient for me! ^^

I am looking forward to the 2nd week of school starting tomorrow! :D
